What is the NCDEX?

NCDEX or National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd. is   multi commodity exchange where investors can trade in commodities online. The major shareholders and key promoters of the exchange are professionally managed companies such as LIC, NABARD, IFFCO, NSE etc.  It has the inbuilt expertise of the national and International level companies that offers investors a level playing field with clear transparency.

The NCDEX live quotes are available for commodities that are traded that included agri products and Non Agri products. The Agri products constitute planation products, pulses, cereals, oil & oil seeds, fibers and others. The Non Agri products constitute Energy, Metals, precious metals and others. In order to trade on the exchange, the investor must become a member.

The NCDEX live quotes and rates are available for all the commodities that are traded on the exchange. Live future quotes as well as spot rates are available for the future contracts that are traded on the exchange. These future contracts provide hedging facility to sellers and manufacturers and even to the investors. The commodities market provides a valuable addition to the portfolio of investor in non- financial products.  Members can access the Live Futures Quotes, Future prices, Spot prices, Charts for the commodity prices, the top gainers and the top losers in the market etc.

The BSE

In contrast to commodities being traded the BSE Sensex is the oldest share market in the country and also the biggest in terms of daily transactions and turnover. The BSE or Bombay Stock Exchange is one of the oldest in the country and is comprised of many indices the BSE Sensex Index is the most widely tracked indices and shows how the financial stock and shares are performing. Retail investors and corporates track the indices to see how well the market is performing.  The other indices that are also tracked by various investors include the MIDCAP, SMLCAP, BSE-500, SHARIAH 50, AUTO and METAL. These indices are constantly changing and the change is reflected on the charts on a minute to minute basis.

The shares that are quoted and traded on the index include most of the sectors of the economy. Investors can get the Beta value for the shares and stocks, historical and current values of stocks and shares and other market information and news related to the company’s shares that are traded here.  Along with shares and stocks that comprise the equity portfolio, investors can also trade in other financial instruments such a Derivatives, USE – Currency derivatives, Debt, Exchange traded funds, BSE Star  Mutual Funds and Securities Lending and Borrowing.

At the end of the day, when the positions of the investors are squared off, various reports regarding the trade can also be accessed by them. This can be seen in End of Day Reports. The minute by minute change can be seen and accessed by investors on the internet and on various other media channels and sites.
